Makar` precision vices are mounted on swivel base to allow for angular indexing. The vice itself can be slided in the guideslot specially suited for the vice, and fixed in any convenient position. The top portion of the swivel base has 0 to 90° markings in four quadrants. The base has a vernier scale to allow increments of 5 minute accuracy. Made from alloy steel, heat treated and ground all over to close tolerance, the swivel bases are available in four sizes to suit the four sizes of makar vices.
