The Headspace Oxymeter of model number EC-1000 incorporates an adapted hypodermic needle to pierce the flexible food packs and draw the gas by means of the inbuilt pump. The Headspace Oxymeter when used in conjunction with the tin can pierce device provides the headspace analysis of % oxygen in the tin can of heights up to 380 mm.
