Occupancy sensor can connect any motion sensing device such as a passive infrared [pir] or microwave detector with n.C. [normally closed] contacts. The system consisting of a ready off-the-shelf motion sensor used in conjunction with the above controllers, enable power saving by automatically switching off lights, fans, air conditioners etc when area is un-occupied.
Based on the latest "sliding window logic" to give the convenience of occupant transparent operation, the occupancy sensor system can be preset for varying levels of occupancy and movement conditions. The timing window is adjustable from 5 minutes to 30 minutes and with seconds setting for testing purposes. The controller has an inbuilt 12v regulated supply output to power the detector. The occupancy sensor is available in 2 models, z555 and z556. They can handle loads up to 10a and up to 80a respectively.
