Sandvik asia ltd supplies coro turn xs extra small turning tools with the cover holes down to 1 mm diameter. These used for internal turning, grooving and generates smaller bores than earlier. There are four sizes of the programme, i.E. Exs-04, 05, 06 and 07.Each size contains different hole diameters and available in different lengths. Thsese features are suitable for different application. The inserts are adjusted with the boring bars, which are designed with internal cutting fluid supply. It is directed at the cutting edge, through two nozzles to enable chip evacuation and enough cooling. The boring bars are available from 10 to 25.4 mm diameter. The coro turn xs is specially manufactured for high precision small part machining in sliding headstock cnc machines within the automotive, watch, connector and medical industry.
