Sandvik Materials Technology manufactures high technology stainless steels, special alloy materials and advanced value-added products, developed in close cooperation with customers. The Silicon Carbide Heating Elements are used in applications ranging in temperature from below 600°C up to 1600°C [1110-2910°F] in both air and controlled atmospheres, although the type of atmosphere used will determine the maximum recommended element temperature. The Silicon Carbide Heating Elements may be mounted either vertically or horizontally, and as the material remains rigid, even at the maximum operating temperatures, no special supports are required.
