Shiva electronics manufactures photoelectric switch for long distance object sensing. The unit consists of transmitter and receiver in a separate housing, which is placed across the object to be sensed. Both the transmitter and receiver have built-in amplifier and a fixed cable is provided for easy mounting. The unit works covering the range up to 40 metres and manufacturesnpn or pnp transistor output with 300 ma output current. It works on 10 to 24 v dc supply and its function is indicated by leds. Uses are in automation and control of packaging machines, printing and textile machines, ceramic and cement industries, machine tools, conveyor lines and special purpose machines.
