A new fork switch or slot sensor is designed by shiva electronics. This switch is provided with built-in circuit in two and three-wire versions which are operated directly on 220 v ac or 10 to 24 v dc supply. The principle on which this switch works is,infrared principle and any object blocking the fork beam makes the contactor on or off. Following are some technical features of this switch which include:unit is available in abs plastic housing with 20 mm gap and 45 mm depth, and 3 mm and 50 mm gap and 45 mm width are available through npn or pnp transistor and through solid state contacts rated for 200 ma. Both the logic no and nc are available in the unit which is suitable for continuous use.
