Sainath engineering works supplies model se-srm, a slitting, re- winding machine for pressure sensitive self adhesive tapes. The machines have some important features. The salient features are: unwinding with shaft integral with machine frame; slitting in good observatory position; equipped with both razor blade cutting in air and crush cutting; duplex rewinding with turrets suitable for both 76 mm and 25 mm diameter mandrels; individual pneumatic clutches for precise tension control; thyristor controlled dc drive; pre- settable electronic counter; working width up to 1300 mm, panel roll diameter up to 600 mm, speed - 120 m/min; and slitting width - 9 mm upwards.
