Steel plant specialities offers espon-lss water miscible hot forging die lubricants. Hot forging involves plastic forming of heated metals and alloys into desired shapes. Benefits include: improved die life, improved production due to reduced downtime, uniform metal flow, distinct improvement in the surface quality of the forgings, zero pollution, absence of smoke and fumes of toxic nature, etc. Technical specifications include: shiny black past free from visible extraneous matter; water diluent; 1.6 kgs ±0.1 kg weight per litre; and flash point nil, does not catch fire. Epson-lss is non-hazardous. Normal industrial hygiene and shop ventilation are sufficient. Epson-lss is packed in 50 kgs capacity special containers. It has a shelf life of 12 months in the factory sealed condition.
