Indlab manufactures the most modem ultra low temperature freezers in both chest and upright models. These are available in various low temperature ranges to suit varied applications of research, labs, blood banks and hospitals. The models have the most advanced solid state electronics and high efficiency refrigeration techniques. These chambers are ideally suited for preservation of plant and animal cells, enzymes, bacteria, dna antibodies, sperm, medicines, vaccines and other biological protocols. Also used for the cold-resistance testing on industrial/electronic parts, embrittlement of rubber components, etc, as well as cryogenic treatment of metal components/metallurgical products. Salient features of -2o/-40/-70[-80]°c series includes 1 mm thick ss 304 sheet polished and fusion welded inner chamber and outer ms sheets finished in powder coat. Insulation by pufeps ensures absolute insulation and energy conservation. Air cooled two stage cascade system with r-502 and r-13 refrigerants for -60 to -wc using hermetically sealed compressors help obtain rapid cooling to set temperature. For -2o/-4oc models, single stage refrigeration system with r-502 refrigerant is used. Special refrigerant oil ensures good lubrication during low temperature operations. Air cooled condenser using continuous rating imported integral motor driven fan improves efficiency of compressors. Low wattage concealed heaters provided at the mouth of the cabinet opening prevents condensation. Doors of chest models are fitted with hydraulic device for automatic opening. Subdoors in chest models are made of lightweight removable insulation slabs. Temperature is controlled by fully solid state digital indicator cum controller with audiovisual alarm for control failure and temperature rise and backup safety features, solid state relays, fuses to ensure absolute safety to electronic and refrigeration.
