Cable glands in polyamide 6 as well as in brass materials in pg threads are flame resistant, confirming to ul94v2. These can be used continuously in temperature range of -30 c to 80 c and intermittent temperature of 150 c. They have wide clamping ran and are suitable for unarmoured cables where it is essential to provide moisture prooof seal on the outer sheath of cable. The range of polyamide cable glands include standard, spiral, elbow, and conus type while the brass cable glands are available standard and emc.
