Heraeus offers a vacuum soldering unit, marketed by sahilinternational that is particularly used in the production of sensitive electronic, optic and fine mechanic components. The receiver is of fine steel. It is possible to place three to five linings in the container that are electrically heated and cooled with compressed air and water. Every lining has its own temperature sensor. The cooling coils with large tubular cross section allow a greater output of the cooling agent and thus a faster cooling. The process times can be shortened and output rose. Thus piece numbers of up to 10,000 soldered circuits per day are possible.
