They can be used to measure fault currents in medical rooms and for quick analysis of anomalies which cause rcds tripping. The leakage clamp meters are designed and built for current measurements under cat iv 600v and voltage measurements under cat iii 600v. They are perfect to detect faults in civil and industrial plants where sudden tripping of rcds occur. These clamp meters can also be used whenever low currents in the order of ua are to be measured.
