Mrk engineers supplies temperature measurement. Raytek usa-minitemp mt4 instrument laser sighting and temperature is shown on large backlit lcd. Measuring range of this low cost instrument is18 to 260°c. Measuring scale can be selected between celsius or fahrenheit. Accuracy of the instrument is 1:2° or 1:2°c whichever is greater. Response time is 500 msec. The instrument operates on 9 v batteries. Other non-contact temperature-measuring instruments are raynger st series of handheld instruments. These instruments are available with or without laser sighting provide minimum, maximum, difference, average temperature and display hold features. Raynger mx series of handheld instruments have unique sixteen-point laser circle spot. Audible/visible high and low alarm is also provided in addition to maximum, minimum, average and difference temperatures. Optional serial rs 232 interface or 1 mv per °c is also available for interfacing the instrument with pc and analyzing the data. Raynger 31 series is suitable for measuring high temperature. Accuracy of these instruments is 1 per cent with ds ratio of 180:1 [for model 1 m and 2 m].
