San telequip manufactures and offers serial-to-ethernett converters [sc10 series] that quickly allow users to ethernet enable any serial device. Led indications are provided on the front facia for ethernet/serial activities and configuration mode. Network protocols, such as udp, tcp, icmp, and arp are supported. The entire serial and network parameters can be configured us windows-based set-up utility from serial as well as ethernet side. The sc 1 oe has an ethernet interface with 10/100 baset speed, rj45 connector, and a serial interface, rs232/rs485 up to a maximum of 115 kbps with 4 9-pin d-type female connector. The device is powered with 2 v ac a built-in smps, no external adapter is required.
