San telequip manufactures protocol converters which are applicable in order to integrate different type of devices such as controllers, plc`s, rtu`s, numerical relays and energy meters, working on different protocols like modbus rtu /asc ii / iec 60870 - 5 - 103 / honeywell abc / proprietary asc ii / iec 1107 in a same network. With two serial ports which are configured as master or slave, data with different protocols can flow through this protocol converter gateway. The gateway of these protocol converters also enable communication between 2 masters. The printer gateway enables to connect non-standard printers to a standard serial or centronics port or add or disable a feature like line skip, page skip etc.
