Elmaco heavy-duty doubleended pedestal grinders are suitable for use in forging industries, foundries and for heavy-duty grinding jobs. All machines are provided with coolant pump, coolant tank, coolant tray and fittings, eye shields, on-off rotary switch and dol starter. Each machine is also provided with one coarse and one medium, aluminium oxide grinding wheel. The range of production is from 0.75 kw to 2.25kw, in 3-phase, 415 v. The speed of the machine at rated load is 2,800 rpm for 1 hp model, and 1420 rpm for 2 and 3 hp models. Machines can also be supplied without coolant system. Electrical windings are specially insulated and impregnated with high grade insulating varnish to withstand moist and tropical climates. Special machines suitable for different voltage supply or frequency are also manufactured. Other products manufactured by the company include: bench grinders, bench polishers, abrasive belt grinders, pedestal buffers, flexible shaft grinders, monoblock coolant pumps and electric motors.
