Vijay machine tools offers mini grinder, has been manufactured by the elmaco group. It is equipped for grinding materials of high tensile strength like steel, carbon steels, wrought and tough bronzes. The mini bench grinder needs a single phase motor [0.18 kw] to operate. It has load current of 0.8 a and the speed at the rated load is 2850 rpm. The grinding wheels are manufactured from aluminium oxide and two grinding wheels are supplied with each machine. The machine is lightweight and usable in small workshops, hobby centres and vocational training institutes. The firm also manufactures bench grinders, polishers, bench grinder-cum-polishers, flexible shaft grinders and electric motors.
