Vijay machine tools has launched double-ended bench polishers for carrying out buffing, polishing and dressing operation on parts of aluminium, plastics, stainless steel, as also leather goods. All the machines are suitable for operation on 400/440 v, 3-ph, 50-hz and 200/230 v, 1 -ph, 50-hz supply. Motor windings are specially insulated and impregnated with high grade insulating varnish to withstand humid, moist and tropical climates. Each bench polishers is provided with rotary switch [except 2-hp, 3-hp and 5-hp bench polishers] mounted on the base for operating the motor. All the machines are also equipped with reversely threaded adaptors to take buffing mops, and earthing screw is provided at the base.
