Leather chemicals that are used during the wet end operations of leather processing for rechroming of wet blue leather, neutralization of the wet blue to adjust pH of the leather surface and across the entire cross-section of leather to specific suitable values for further processing like retanning, dyeing & fat liquoring etc., dispersion of the main retanning agents, dye levelling and dye penetration during dyeing operations.
Various types of Auxiliary Syntans for Leather Industry are as follows:
- Ventan RCS: It is a rechroming syntan used for rechroming of wet blue leather. It is available in the form of spray dried free flowing powder.
- Ventan NNS: It is a neutralizing syntan used for the neutralization of excess acidity, in the form of sulphuric acid, bound with wet blue leather. It is available in the form of spray dried free flowing powder and is suitable for neutralization of wet blue leather to produce finished leather suitable for use as shoe-upper etc.
- Ventan NNS-S: It is special neutralizing syntan used for neutralization of wet blue leather to produce very soft leathers. It is available in the form of spray dried free flowing powder.
- Ventan PNS: It is special neutralizing syntan for neutralization of wet blue leather to produce very soft leathers. It is available in the form of spray dried free flowing powder.
- Ventan DNS: It is neutralization cum dye penetrating syntan. It is available in the form of spray dried free flowing powder.
- Ventan LNS: It is special neutralizing syntan for neutralization of wet blue leather to produce very soft leathers. It is available in the form of liquid.
- Ventan DPS: It is an auxiliary syntan suitable for dye levelling, dye penetration & dispersion of resin tannins in processing of leather.
