Protektol Anticorrosives also offers various types of corrosion protection coatings for reinforcement of steel rods Used in constructions. The Inhibitor Solution for Corrosion Protection, also known as Protmax-ICS is used for preparing anticorrosive treatment slurry which can be applied on steel reinforcement rods. The coating slurry is prepared by mixing Protmax-ICS with cement in the ratio of 600 cc of Protmax-ICS with 1 Kg of cement. The coating slurry should be applied on cleaned steel rod by dipping or brushing. This Coating provides a highly alkaline and passive environment to rod surface.
