Firex-hffr uses the revolutionary polymer hffr as the insulation for the wire. Hffr stands for halogen free flame retardant [zero halogen flame retardant]. It is a zero halogen compound that completely replaces the hazardous pvc or frls insulation used in traditional electrical wires. Furthermore, it replaces the traditional uniform bunch conductor with unilay conductor. Unilay conductors don`t have any loose strands, assuring that there is no loss of current carrying capacity because of breakage of strands during stripping of insulation and installation of the cables.
