Korber schleifring offer mikrosa kronos eco low-cost centerless cylindrical grinding machines. , have been developed by studer mikrosa gmbh with following assumptions; a standard-machine for throughfeed grinding, reduced to the minimally required scale of equipment, which is still bearing the fundamental characteristics and quality attributes of the kronos series. Thus mikrosa meets the customer demand for a precise low-cost-machine with a powerful performance. The kronos eco is based on the construction principle of the experienced 3-slides-system. These machines are built on a solid granitan machine base. The grinding wheel with the standard width of 250 mm is actuated by a powerful three-phase cage rotor drive with 22 kw. On the regulating wheel side, a servo motor with 4 kw provides a working speed up to 310 min-1. The bearing-supported grinding and regulating spindles are designed for a mintenance-free lubrication. The grinding wheel is dressed with 2 cnc-axes [x2 and z2]. A dressing head for fixed dressing tools is standard. A swivelling dresser with template is used on the regulating wheel side. The infeed movement of the dressing system [x3-axis] can be manually handled with a hand wheel. This standard machine is designed for throughfeed grinding operations and it can be easily configured online according to customer specifications. The machine acceptance is realised with a standard workpiece cylinder roll.
