Laser sensor with analogue output is the latest attraction from balluff india. New to the bos 26 housing style are the sensors with distance-proportional output signal. It can be used wherever positions need to be accurately determined, or where more than just object detection is needed. The bod 26 sensor is integrated in the compact, rectangular bos 26 series housing [50 x 50 x 17]. The bod 26 provides an easy to process, distance proportional output voltage of 0..10 v over a range of 45...85 mm. By using red, tightly focused laser light [protection class 2] and special receiver optics, the sensor can work with virtually any colour, material or surface. Special emitter circuitry minimizes the effect of reflective objects. The sensors` accuracy basically depends of the type of 20 µm or 80 µm at a switching frequency of 40 hz or 400 hz. High linearity and low temperature drift assures precise performance over the entire sensing range. Together with the other laser sensors in the bos 26 series, this unit solves many previously difficult problems.
