Balluff india manufactures bil non-contact analogue position sensors for short displacement linear feedback devices. The company claims that these analogue position sensors measure only 95 mm long and fit in tight places where other sensors can`t. They deliver linearised stroke information up to 50 mm and non-linearised stroke information up to 60 mm. Some of the other features of the position sensors include: high resistance to shock, vibration and moisture; no moving parts other than the magnet; and voltage and current-output versions available. Magneto inductive linear position sensors are mini proportioned and optimized to provide highly accurate, non-contact continuous positioning information. The versatile bil allows existing motion control systems to be afford ably upgraded from end-of-stroke to the flexibility and precision of continuous absolute positioning feedback.
