Multiple springs are used to provide uniform face loading and positive drive is provided through rugged grub screws. The secondary sealing is generally done bye ptfe wedge or an o-ring. Type ac 137b is pressure balanced to withstand high pressures. Operating conditions: service - mild acids, alkalies, chemicals, solvents, oils, petroleum products, etc. Pressure range type 137 - up to 10 kg/cm2; type 137b - up to 40 kg/cm2; temperature range - 100 to 250°c; and shaft diameters - 12 to 150 mm.
