Solar Powered Street Light is a lighting system consisting of luminary made up of light emitting diodes, SMF battery and a solar PV module. The Light has the feature that the photovoltaic module charges the batteries during day time and at night, when solar panel voltage drops, luminary will be automatically switched on and in the morning, when solar panel voltage increases, luminary will be automatically switched off. The Light finds application in rural street light applications, township, farm house lighting, gated communities, residential layouts, holiday resorts, campus lighting, major roadways, pedestrian walkways and parking lots. The Light has weather proof luminaries and has 2 to 3 day`s anatomy and efficient PWM charge controller and comes with proper protections and indications. The Solar Powered Street Light has automatic dusk to dawn/ timer operation and has green light source that ensures no lead, no mercury and is pollution free.
