Micro Controller Based Solar Inverter supports solar operations and hybrid operations with grid/ mains and is designed to support all home appliances such as lights, fan, television, mixer grinder, fridge etc. The Inverter automatically switch between mains power supply and solar power at different events as given below and when there is no mains supply, power source will be changed to inverter. The Inverter has the feature that user can set timer events, where the TPSS mechanism will switch the power source to inverter at the timer event and switch back to ac mains, when battery is discharged to a particular level and if the inverter cannot support the power request from the load, automated power source selection will switch the power source to ac mains, automatically. The Inverter is micro-controller based and ensures maximum use of solar power at day time. The Inverter has fully automated operations, APSS mechanism to reduce power wastage and is suitable for mixed power applications. The Inverter has LCD display to indicate working status, operations modes etc and has hybrid or solar only mode selector. The Micro Controller Based Solar Inverter has the feature of three operations modes, automatic power source selection, timed power source selection and manual power source selection.
