Product Profile of Porous Type Activated Carbon Fabric
Porous type Activated Carbon Fabric is a flexible and minimum 90% pure form of activated carbon. Activated Carbon Fabric is highly porous in nature and due to a thin fibrous shape in activated carbon fabric; a fast intraparticle adsorption kinetics takes place in gas and liquid phase adsorption. Activated Carbon Fabric is soft and easy to handle. Activated Carbon Fabric is made up of filament yarn, due to which it is electrically conductive and hence it can be regenerated by passing a low voltage current across its surface or by heating it at 100 Degree C for 15 to 30 minutes. Activated Carbon Fabric is used in air-conditioner filters, air purifying filters, clean rooms and all other types of pollution control filters. Porous type Activated Carbon Fabric has a BET surface area of the range from 1,000 to 2,500 m² g-1 with a high degree of adsorption and desorption characteristics.
