Product Profile of Oil Immersed Voltage Transformer
Oil Immersed Voltage Transformer helps to reduce the line voltage to a value which is suitable for standard measuring instruments relays etc. The Transformer has copper enamelled wire that is used for winding and the diameter and length of each layer is selected such that surge voltage is distributed equally in all layers of the winding. The Transformer is designed to isolate the measuring instruments, meters, relays etc from high voltage side an installation and to sense abnormalities in voltage and give signals to protective relays to isolate the defective system. The Transformer consists of primary and secondary winding, electromagnetic core, bottom tank and oil expansion chamber and porcelain bushing. The Oil Immersed Voltage Transformer has copper enamelled wire that is used for winding and is wound with multilayer and graded insulation.
