Jib Crane for Material Handling can be availed with optional equipments such as bridge and trolley travel limit switches, anti-collision devices, service platforms, walkways, load sensing/ weighing and monitoring systems, audio or light warning systems, flood lights, variable frequency drive for stepless speed control, radio remote controls, magnet or vacuum lifting equipment, overload protection and safety equipment. The Jib Crane is used for material handling purpose. The Jib Crane has the rope drum that is rolled welded and precision machined and this rope drum is supported on large diameter roller bearings on both ends and the drive is through internal gears. The Jib Crane has motor of three phase squirrel cage, conical rotor type working on 440 volts, 3p,50 HZ ac supply and the axial movement of the rotor is one of the characteristics of the conical rotor type of motor and this characteristic is taken advantage of in the actuation of the brake. The Jib Crane for Material Handling has gear box is made using quality grade cast iron and the precision spur gears are machined from alloy steel and are fitted with ball/ needle roller bearings.
