Product Profile of Compact Designed Y Strainer
Compact Designed Y Strainer is designed for mechanically removing unwanted solids from liquids, gas or steam lines by means of a perforated or wire mesh straining element. The Designed Y Strainer provides effective straining solutions in many applications, where the amount of material to be removed from the flow is relatively small, resulting in long intervals between screen cleanings. The Y Strainer is made using carbon steel or stainless steel 304 or 316 and is available with stainless steel mesh with supported stainless steel perforated plate. The Y Strainer is available in compact, cylindrical shaped pattern and is capable of working under pressure rate of 6000 PSI. Compact Designed Y Strainer is also used in air or natural gas applications.
