Product Profile of Tapered Type Roller Bearing
Tapered Type Roller Bearing is guided tangentially by the cage and axially by the big rib of the outer ring, on which they have point contact. The Bearing has the feature that as between rollers and raceways there is linear contact; tapered roller bearings can take heavy radial loads and can take heavy axial or combined loads, depending on the contact angle caused by the tapered rolling elements. The Bearing can be designed in wide range such as single, double and four row rollers. The Bearing can be manufactured with rib on the outer ring and if it is mounted in x or o arrangements, the load carrying capacity increases and loads can be taken in both directions in the same bearing. The Bearing can be availed in metric or inch dimensions. The Bearing has low capacity to compensate for errors of alignment between shaft and housing. The Tapered Type Roller Bearing can be fitted with pressed sheet cages.
