The Tank stores, meters and delivers the asphalt in required proportion to the mixing section of the drum and asphalt is sprayed uniformly in the mixing zone for accurate coating on aggregates. The Tank requires less maintenance and has efficient air pollution control design. The Tank is available in cera wool insulated manner and has flue tube designed for good surface area to affect necessary heat transfer. The Tank consist of positive displacement type jacketed asphalt pump coupled with variable speed drive unit and has hot oil jacketed delivery and return lines for smooth functioning. The Auto Controlled Asphalt Tank has automatic burner suitable for LDO, diesel fuel and variable speed drive is synchronized with the variable speed drives of each feeder bin, mineral filler unit and weighbridge load cell to deliver exact percentage of asphalt in the mix material and to meet the job mix formula.
