Metal Inert Gas Welding Wire is highly deoxidized copper coated high manganese silicon bearing filler wire that is used for continuous welding with c02 shielding gas and other commercially available inert gas and shielding gas mixtures. The Wire comes first packed in sealed airtight polythene bag containing silica gel moisture absorbent and then packed in corrugated box and then they are scaled in second polythene bag. The Wire has weight of 12.5 kg with 0.50 mm bore and diameter of 0.80 mm, 20 mm, 60 mm, and 2 mm. The Wire has spool size of 300 X 100 X 51 mm and is easily mountable on wire feeding equipment. The Wire has good copper adherence for corrosion resistance, good conductivity and high speed feeding. The Wire has absence of slag, which minimizes clearing operation and produces radiographic quality weld. The Metal Inert Gas Welding Wire is suitable for MIG/ MAG welding of mild steel, low alloy steel, general engineering and structural applications and is used in the MIG welding of automobile bodies, containers, railway wagons and bicycle frames.
