High Tensile Enclosure type Transformer is used as energy storage device in switched-mode power supplies. The Transformer is designed with an enclosure within which a low-voltage winding arrangements in a closed delta configuration is provided. The Transformer has high tensile strength and needs less maintenance. High Tensile Enclosure type Transformer has bus bars terminals mounted at the exterior of the enclosure, for providing electrical connection with the low-voltage windings.
