Double Poured Indefinite Chilled Rolls have highly alloyed centrifuged shell as the working layer and a core of grey iron or SG iron, depending upon the mill requirements. These Indefinite Chilled Rolls have the shell microstructure consisting of carbide and graphite in a matrix that systematically progresses from a mixture of pearlite and bainite in the softer grades through bainite to martensite in the harder grades. These Indefinite Chilled Rolls are suitable for finishing stands of hot strip mills, plate mills and skin pass mills.
