Industrial Grade Actuated Butterfly is suitable for dead-end services, including chemicals, corrosive fluids, pulp and paper, cement, water works, ducting, vacuum application, petroleum, hydrocarbon processing and refinery services. The Butterfly is available with various types of actuators, these allow for smooth passage and prevent fluid deposition within the seat thereby increasing seat life. The Butterfly is available in sizes ranging from 2" to 40" and has end connections such as wafer, lug, semi lug, flanged. The Butterfly has cast iron, cast steel and stainless steel made body. The Butterfly has optional disc geometry that provides bubble tight shut off, PTFE lined bearing minimizes friction, thereby reducing the operating torque and actuator size and has rigid PTFE that allows a smooth passage and prevents fluid deposition within the seat thereby increasing seat life. The Industrial Grade Actuated Butterfly is designed with various accessories such as positioners, air filter and regulator, solenoid valve, limit switches and counter flanges.
