Calcium Seatrate is used in small amounts of 0.1 to 0.4 parts together with barium and cadmium stearate to give increased stability over a long period of time however, abrupt colour change occurs as the stabiliser is used up. Calcium Seatrate helps to give good initial colour and reduce plate out. Calcium Seatrate in Fine Powder Form contains moisture in a range of 1.0% to 3.0%.
