Product Profile of Anthelmintic Niclosamide Veterinary Oral Powder
Anthelmintic Niclosamide Veterinary Oral Powder is active against tapeworms and intestinal flukes such as paramphistomum in ruminants and inhibits phosphorylation in the mitochondria of cestodes. The Oral Powder is taenicidal in action and eliminates not only the segments but also scolex. The Oral Powder has activity against the worms that appears to be due to inhibition of mitochondrial oxidative phosphorylation. The Anthelmintic Niclosamide Veterinary Oral Powder is indicated in both tapeworm infestation of livestock, poultry, dogs and cats and also in immature paramphistomiasis of cattle, sheep and goats.
