Temperature Controllers and Ignition Boxes are designed for combustion and heat control on construction machines and are used for screed temperature control on an asphalt paver. The Temperature Controller has the feature that in this case, the actual temperature of the screed is determined by means of a temperature sensor and if the temperature falls below an adjustable minimum value, a gas valve will be opened and a flame will be ignited. The Temperature Controller ensures that if no flame is detected, the valve will close again and an alarm condition will be indicated, if the gas has been inflamed, the screed will be heated up to the desired value. The Temperature Controllers and Ignition Boxes has the feature that if the flame extinguishes, the gas valve will close to prevent deflagration.
