Product Profile of Sodium Iodide Based Eye Drop

Sodium IODIDE based Eye Drop is indicated for initial opacity of eye lens. The Eye Drop is prepared using an accurate composition of sodium lodide 1%, mono basic calcium phosphate 0.5%, 0.05% chlorocresol IP as preservative. The Eye Drop potentiates the action of lodine and avoids any possible risk of reaction. Sodium Iodide Based Eye Drop can be used in an amount of 2-3 drops for 3-4 times daily or as directed by the physician.

• Indicated for initial opacity of eye lens
• When applied to the eyes, lodine penetrates into the internal chamber and brings the endoocular liquid back to the normal condition which might have altered due to metabolic or lenticular derangements
• Monobasic calcium phosphate potentiates the action of lodine and avoids any possible risk of reaction
