Safety Guard/ Light Curtain is available in two types such as parallel beam and cross beam and for the same protected height, cross beam light curtains are more sensitive as there are more number of active beams in the same area. The Curtain is used for preventing injuries of hand/ finger/ body part, while working at power presses for metal, processing machines for wood, plastic, leather, rubber, glass, etc. The Curtain has the feature that makes it easy to install and can be mounted in any position, vertical/ horizontal. The Curtain has blanking/ bypassing individual channel is provided through software and system operation is unaffected by mains power fluctuation. The Curtain has barrier that is operated on cycles scanning photo-electric infra-red techniques and various barrier heights are available for covering 90 mm to 1710 mm. The Safety Guard/ Light Curtain is offered with sensor connections through plug in connectors and has the feature of self checking circuitry with two outputs that continuously monitors failure of any of the beam in the system and stop the machine if failure is detected.
