Electric Wire Rope Hoist is a device used for lifting or lowering a load by means of drum or lift-wheel, around which rope wraps and acts as integral part of a crane or sometimes mounted at affixed position, as a permanent or temporary solution. The Hoist has the feature that when it is mounted to a trolley on a fixed monorail, twin direction load motion is available such as forward and reverses or up and down and when the hoist is mounted on a crane, three directional load motions are available such as right and left, forward and reverse or up and down. The Hoist has light weight modular construction, compact design with low headroom and comes with hoisting gearbox, motor and brake in a single compact unit, eliminating any coupling and alignment problems. The Hoist has two speed hoisting drive in 6/ 1 ratio with soft start/ stop feature, low noise levels during operation and dual disc asbestos free dc brake designed for first adjustment after 1 million cycles. The Hoist has wide, large diameter steel wheel with permanently lubricated bearings and comes equipped with two upper and two lower position gear limit switch. The Hoist has remote control pendant available as an option and is available in load range from 2 ton to 12.5 tons in different class of tasks, lift and hosting speeds. The Electric Wire Rope Hoist has heavy duty wire rope guide for rope guidance, easy serviceable electrical control system and overload limit switches available as an option on hoist as well as cross travel drives.
