Product Profile of Thyristor/ Contactor Switched Apfc System
Thyristor/ Contactor Switched APFC System works automatically on LT power supply to measure , display, connect and disconnect the required capacitor banks through thyristor or capacitor duty contactor with protection of MCB / HRC fuses and series reactors to each bank to achieve the set target power factor. The APFC System is equipped with digital microprocessor based relay to measure, calculate and display all electrical network parameters. The APFC System is designed with a modular structure and has door interlock facility. Thyristor/ Contactor Switched APFC System finds application in automobile, cement and metal industries.
