Water Reducing and Retarding Admixture is based on a lignosulphonate and is available as a brown liquid which is instantly dispersible in water. The Admixture produces more cohesive workable concrete at constant water or cement ratio with slightly improved strength. The Water Reducing and Retarding Admixture can provide up to 15% reduction in free water without loss of workability, resulting in reduced permeability and early strength gain. The Admixture gives extended workability which is useful when concrete is transported in ready mixed trucks and for avoiding cold joints. Water Reducing and Retarding Admixture has a specific gravity range of 1.17 at 25Degree C.
