Carbon Powder for Foundry Applications is used to act as an additive for imparting good finish to castings. The Carbon Powder is used in foundries along with sand, bentonite powder etc to fabricate foundry bath where metal is stored in hot conditions. The Carbon Powder acts as a partition joint between sand and metal in order to avoid distortion of metal surface after cooling. The Carbon Powder for Foundry Applications evaporates from sand bath faster and does not allow effect of sand on the metal due tom its low ash and high volatiles content.
