Pre-Poured Microbiology Media Plates contain a growth medium used to culture micro organisms. These Media Plates can be used either to estimate the concentration of organisms in liquid culture or a suitable dilution of that culture using a colony counter. These Media Plates can also be used to generate genetically pure cultures from a mixed culture of generically different organisms, using a technique known as streaking. These Pre-Poured Microbiology Media Plates are available in various types including Trypticase Soyabean Casein Agar, Sabouraud Dextrose Agar, Blood Agar, Chocolate agar etc.
