Perfumery Grade Diethyl Phthalate is clear colour less liquid aromatic acid ester with mild odour. The Diethyl Phthalate is soluble in alcohol, aromatic hydrocarbons and has 1.100 g/ cm3 density. The Diethyl Phthalate has 117 ° C flash point and 0.15% water content. The Diethyl Phthalate is used in cosmetics, camphor substitute, plasticizer in solid rocket propellants and cellulose esters. The Diethyl Phthalate is used in the manufacturing of varnishes and dopes and used in dhoop and agarbatti. The Perfumery Grade Diethyl Phthalate comes packed in 35 kg carboys, 225 kg HM-HDPE/ mild steel drums and bulk in tankers.
