Sri lakshmi industries offers automatic staple pin making machine. This 3-wire machine produces 1350 pins/minute in continuous operation, glued together, and cut-off in strips by means of electronic sensor. The production out put [for no: 10] is 1350 pieces per minute. One strip of staple pin consists of 50 pieces thus 27 strips can be produced in one minute with automatic gumming. The production per 8 hours is 32 boxes. Parts subject to heavy wear are carbide coated which greatly increases the life of the tools. Another highlight of this machine is the provision for auto stop mechanism in case of untoward hitch in the feeding process. This helps save on maintenance cost, raw materials and spares purchase. The machine is driven with a 0.5 hp, single-phase motor of 1420 rpm. This machine requires very little bit of area for installation [ie, 5 ft x 7 ft]. Also very little supervision is needed so that one person could look after several machines without difficulty.
